Random Soulstorm Legacy Screenshots (Since I’m on an RPG Maker Kick)

Yeah, since I’ve spent all this time talking about my RPG Maker game, I figured I’d give some screenshots so you at least have an idea of what it would look like in-game. These are all old, but I’m pretty sure they;re representative of the game’s quality before it went on forced hiatus. Enjoy. Comments and Criticism welcome.

Choler explores the Nylae Floodplains

Yeah, I ended up rewriting that narrative bit there. The to many words with the “decision” root. Still, it’s a nice little moody shot of, you guessed it, the Nylae Floodplains.

I figured that while I’m here I might as well post some low quality, outdated screenshots. I think most if not all of these have been improved since they were taken.

Haha! One of my favorite screenshots ever! Choler is having something of an emotional breakdown. I like the little hands-grabbing-my-head-because-my-brain-hurts poses I made for him. Also notice that Choler’s sprite is different than in any other screenshot. This was his original sprite, although with the colors touched up. And notice his faceset is the old version, too, as it shows him wearing a shirt with a fabric collar instead of armor. The appearance of the town has also been greatly improved since this screenshot was taken.

These next two aren’t exactly screenshots, per se, but they do show what some stuff is like in game.

Vistatus is the main character’s hometown. The little Es are events. Things like NPCs and stuff. This pic is being cut off. Click here for a full size view.

I made this volcano area solely to practice my mapping skills. It doesn’t appear in game. It was also never finished. The pic is being cut off. Click here to view the complete version.
